Founding Partner

Curt is a Managing Partner in the Max Alley Companies and Glide Xpress Car Wash Group and has over 50 years of experience in development, construction and finance.   He is a licensed real estate broker in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana and is well known for his finance expertise and creative deal structure.  

He has chaired the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce and served as Arkansas State Chairman for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). He is the current Chairman for the International Coalition for the development of Interstate 49, a board member of the SBA Loan Committee for Arkansas Capital and serves on the Arkansas Advisory Board for the UAMS Winthrop Paul Rockefeller Cancer Institute.

  James is a Managing Partner in the Max Alley Companies and Glide Xpress Car Wash Group and has over 45 years of experience in all phases of construction and real estate development. He has been an Arkansas Broker since 1979 and held Real Estate License in Oklahoma and Texas.    

For the past 35 years, James has been focused on the growth of Max Alley Construction. During that time, they have completed over 550 projects and were selected as Contractor of the Year and Developer of the Year by a Fortune 100 Company.    

Director, Real Estate

Deuce is a seasoned professional known for his ability to navigate changing markets and identify lucrative opportunities.  He has successfully led Max Alley through numerous real estate ventures, driving growth and maximizing returns for investors.

He has held roles as a field superintendent and project manager for Max Alley,  overseeing diverse ground-up retail projects across the United States.  In addition to his hands-on experience, Deuce holds a Texas Real Estate Broker’s License and is recognized as a LEED AP.

Deuce has lived abroad and is fluent in Spanish. 

SVP, Construction

John is a 20-year construction veteran known for precision, reliability, and strong operational leadership. He excels as an estimator and project manager, with the ability to manage work effectively both on site and from the office. John brings structure to complex projects, ensuring scopes are clearly defined, costs are accurate, and plans are executable.

Highly organized and detail-driven, John is especially strong in scheduling and coordination, keeping teams aligned and projects moving without surprises. His disciplined approach, combined with practical field experience, allows him to anticipate issues early, maintain control over timelines, and deliver consistent results.

VP, Construction & Development

 Matt Landes brings a strong background in construction, estimating, and project management to the Max Alley team. Having risen through the ranks at Max Alley, Matt began his journey on the construction side, then transitioned into development, and now plays an active role guiding both fronts.

He’s played a key role in delivering over 50 successful projects across multiple states, including early education centers, car washes, retail spaces, and healthcare facilities.

With a hands-on leadership style and clear, solution-oriented communication, Matt fosters strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams. His work reflects Max Alley’s core values of integrity, performance, and long-term partnership.

Outside of his professional role, Matt is a skilled woodworker who enjoys handcrafting furniture—from harvesting raw timber to crafting finished pieces—demonstrating the same dedication to quality and craftsmanship that defines his work at Max Alley.

SVP, Real Estate

With a 15-year tenure at Max Alley, Clint brings extensive expertise in market analysis, site selection, land use planning, contract negotiations, entitlements and preconstruction budgeting. 

Leading a dynamic team, he spearheads comprehensive real estate development initiatives, overseeing projects with a cumulative volume of $300 million since joining the company. 

His "hands-on" experience as a field superintendent on multiple projects within Max Alley's Construction division has allowed him to seamlessly bridge the gap between conceptual understanding and on-site execution.

He is a Dale Carnegie graduate and is recognized as a LEED AP.
